Civil servants of Keren city administration express resolve to work hard to provide the public with efficient and timely service

Keren, 01 March 2015- At a meeting they conducted with Mr. Zerizghi Dawit, Administrator of Keren City, the civil servants of the City Administration expressed resolve to work hard to provide the public with efficient and timely service.
In a speech he delivered at the occasion, Mr. Zerizghi Dawit called on the civil servants to effectively use their working hours to provide the public with efficient and timely services.
He further said that thanks to the construction of dams and micro-dams the water problem of the city is alleviated, and that the role of the civil servants is vital in the efforts to develop the city.
He also called on the civil servants to be vigilant in controlling the illegal trade activities, the unjustified price of consumer commodities, as well as illegal land sales.
Furthermore, Mr. Zerizghi explained that in 2014 thanks to the strong participation of the residents many activities including renovation of sewerages of the city, construction of bridges as well as reforestation and expansion of martyrs’ cemetery have been accomplished, and that the activities for the year 2015 would be installing water pipes from Tsebab to Keren city, renovating roads and providing electricity supply to one administrative area.
