Active communal participation demonstrated in development endeavors in She’ib sub-zone

Mr. Yihayish Gebreselasie, Managing director of She’ib sub-zone, stated that active communal participation is being demonstrated as regards implementation of development programs, and called for its continuity in an organized manner.

She’ib, 04 February 2015 – Mr. Yihayish Gebreselasie, Managing director of She’ib sub-zone, stated that active communal participation is being demonstrated as regards implementation of development programs, and called for its continuity in an organized manner.

He made the remarks at a meeting with inhabitants of the sub-zone, Mr. Yihayish noted that various programs were undertaken last year regarding the construction and repair of water diversion canals, soil and water conservation activities, spraying anti-locust pesticides and promoting environmental hygiene. He further called on the inhabitants to practice prudent utilization of the social service facilities.

Likewise, Mr. Ali Ahmed, head of the Education Ministry’s branch, stressed the need for exerting persistent parental follow-up of student enrollment in general and females in particular.
