The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWDVA) has secured medicines, medical equipments worth over Euro 10 thousand in support from its branches in Denmark, Germany and Norway.
Asmara, 04 February 2015 – The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWDVA) has secured medicines, medical equipments worth over Euro 10 thousand in support from its branches in Denmark, Germany and Norway.
The Chairman of the Association, Mr. Gebrebirhan Eyasu, commended the initiative taken by the nationals, and that the donated items would be distributed to beneficiaries through Denden Health Center.
He went on to indicate that the Denmark branch has been extending over 5, 00,000 Nakfa in the years 2006 to 2011 on the basis of rehabilitating the members with different projects, and that the latest contribution is a continuation of the such a gesture.
Similarly, Eritrean nationals residing in Norway have contributed over 7 thousand eyeglass lenses and frames and that nationals in Stuttgart city contributed over 200 frames.Mr. Efrem Ogbaselasie, Chairman of the Association’s branch in Norway, said that the support to the disabled nationals would continue. An Eritrean national, Ms. Alemsh Tesfamariam, who resides in Frankfurt, also donated 200 thousand Nakfa to the ENWDVA.
