Residents of Cherhi Administrative area conduct sensitization campaign

The residents of Cherhi Administrative area, Abashawl sub-zone, have conducted sensitization campaign with a view to promoting environmental hygiene.

Asmara, 04 February 2015 – The residents of Cherhi Administrative area, Abashawl sub-zone, have conducted sensitization campaign with a view to promoting environmental hygiene.

Mr. Fremichael Tewolde, Administrator of the area, pointed out that about 4 thousand residents of the area have been taking part in the weekly campaign that and it scheduled to continue every three months. He also noted the significance of the scheme in combating communicable diseases, and thereby promote community health.

The residents expressed readiness to pursue the task in a highly organized manner, and called for making available the necessary facilities to this end.
