Eritrea taking part in Cairo International Book Fair

Eritrea is taking part in the 46th Cairo International Book Fair from January 28 to February 12, according to the Eritrean Embassy in Egypt.

Asmara, 05 February 2015 –Eritrea is taking part in the 46th Cairo International Book Fair from January 28 to February 12, according to the Eritrean Embassy in Egypt.  It presented books on historical, political, cultural and literary subject matter.

The Egyptian Prime Minister, Mr. Ibrahim Mahleb, who opened the Fair, expressed appreciation for the Eritrean contents in the Fair and received a souvenir of the Eritrean Emblem presented to President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt that was handed by the Eritrean Ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Fasil Gebreselasie.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmed Hassen Dahli, Director of the Eritrean Strategic Research Centre, conducted seminar focusing on Eritrean-Egyptian relations.

In the course of the seminar, he gave briefings on various topics regarding, among others,   Eritrea’s stance on regional and international issues, the Eritrean people’s resistance against external conspiracies and the illegal sanctions resolution.
