Keren, 08 February 2015- The “Fenkil Torch” that began its journey from Barentu received a warm welcome upon arrival to Keren city on 5 February.

The torch that will end its journey at Massawa passing through the Gash Barka, Anseba and Central regions has been awarded a warm welcome by Ms. Amete Neguse, Secretary of the PFDJ Anseba region and representatives of the Anseba administrations and Keren Municipality.

According to report from the region the youth from Keren handed over the torch to the Eleberet youth at a ceremony conducted in the afternoon hours of 6 February.
