Preparations finalized to add color to Silver Jubilee commemoration of Operation Fenkil, says artists in Ginda sub-zone

Artists from Ginda sub-zone stated that preparations have been finalized to add color to the Silver Jubilee Commemoration of Operation Fenkil due to be conducted in Massawa city from 12 to 15 February.

Ginda, 09 February 2015 – Artists from Ginda sub-zone stated that preparations have been finalized to add color to the Silver Jubilee Commemoration of Operation Fenkil due to be conducted in Massawa city from 12 to 15 February.

Mr. Degen Gebru, coordinator of cultural groups told Erina that preparations for staging performances by cultural groups in Tigre, Tigrigna and Saho have been finalized. He also stated that there will be an exhibition highlighting the decisive Battle of Ginda in 1990. The performances would highlight the feats of heroic sacrifice demonstrated by the freedom fighters.
