College of Marine Science strives to effectively harness marine resources

Dr. Zekaria Abdel-Kerim, Dean of the College of Marine Science, stated that it is striving to effectively harness existing resources through nurturing citizens equipped with knowledge and skill, in addition to realizing the set investment to this end.

Massawa, 10 February 2015 – Dr. Zekaria Abdel-Kerim, Dean of the College of Marine Science, stated that it is striving to effectively harness existing resources through nurturing citizens equipped with knowledge and skill, in addition to realizing the set investment to this end.

In an interview with national media outlets in connection with the Silver Jubilee commemoration of Operation Fenkil, the Dean said that the College is offering courses for Degree and Diploma.

Moreover, Dr. Zekaria outlined that the number of students enrolled in the College in general and that of females in particular has shown visible growth over the past 10 years. So far, more than 1,000 have graduated in different   fields, he added.
