Community-based living pattern described prerequisite towards promoting social service

The Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Ali Mahmud, said that community-based living pattern is a prerequisite towards promoting social service facilities, and called on the community members to exert the required effort in this regard.

Hagaz, 16 February 2015 – The Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Ali Mahmud, said that community-based living pattern is a prerequisite towards promoting social service facilities, and called on the community members to exert the required effort in this regard. He made the statement at a workshop organized by the Health Ministry’s branch in the region that was conducted in Hagaz town.

The Administrator went on to state that the Government is exerting unreserved endeavors pertaining to the realization of development goals in general and that of promoting health wellbeing of citizens in particular.

Also speaking at the workshop, Ms. Amna Haj, Administrator of Hagaz sub-zone, explained that encouraging outcome has been registered as regards raising community awareness with a view to doing away with instances of harmful customary practices, and that vigorous efforts would be made towards the implementation of development and infrastructure programs that benefits the public.

In the same vein, the regional Health Ministry’s branch, Dr. Kesetebirhan Solomon, outlined that the necessary efforts are being exerted towards raising public awareness on proper utilization of health services and developing behavioral change. In this regard, he noted that more promotional activities are to be organized so as to raise the awareness of the nationals.
