17th National Cross Country Championship to take place in Barentu

The 17th National Cross Country Champion is scheduled to be conducted on February 21 in Barentu.

Barentu, 18 February 2015 – The 17th National Cross Country Championship is scheduled to be conducted on February 21 in Barentu. Senior and Junior Athletes from the six Administration regions and the Defense Ministry in both sexes would participate in the Championship. Higher spirit of competiveness is expected to witness in the competition.

Male athletes would participate in 12 and 8-km-long competitions, while the female athletes in 8 and 6-km-long races.

Athletes who register the required time will represent Eritrea in the World Cross Country Championship due to be held on February 28 in the Chinese city of Guwang.
