Nurturing youth with virtuous qualities constitute major part of the nation-building process, Says NUEYS Chairman

Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, Chairman of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS), said that nurturing the youth with virtuous qualities constitute a major part of the nation-building process.

Mendefera, 19 February 2015 – Mr. Saleh Ahmedin, Chairman of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students (NUEYS), said that nurturing the youth with virtuous qualities constitute a major part of the nation-building process. To this end, he said persistent endeavors are being exerted on part of the Union and the People’s Front towards nurturing versatile youth.

The remarks was made at a seminar he conducted in Mendefera city for youth members of units and cadres of the Union, during which Mr. Saleh called on the youth to make maximum  use of the available educational opportunities accorded them at government expenditure without falling victim to external conspiracies weaved against them.

Also speaking at the seminar, Mr. Girmai Gebru, head of the NUEYS branch in the Southern region, noted the significance of the seminar as regards shaping and raising awareness of the youth members.
