A 2-day workshop is underway in Asmara College of Health Science with a view to developing capacity as regards scientific research activities.
Asmara, 19 February 2015 – A 2-day workshop is underway in Asmara College of Health Science with a view to developing capacity as regards scientific research activities.
Speaking on the occasion in which Ms. Amina Nur-Husein, Minister of Health, took part, Prof. Berhane Gimai, Dean of the College, pointed out that the College is working on priority basis towards nurturing citizens equipped with adequate knowledge and skill, and thereby live up to demands of health personnel at national level.
He also stated that the current workshop is aimed at creating conducive ground for
enhancing research activities through open discussion.
In an explanation he gave on the occasion pertaining to the Research policy of the National Commission of Higher Education, Prof. Zemenfes Tsige, indicated that the necessary efforts are being made towards strengthening research activities in higher education level. To this end, initiative has been taken to establish Eritrean Research Studies Center, in collaboration with partners. He went on to stress the need for conducting scientific research activities with the objective global situation.
