At a meeting conducted on 15 February in Senafe, Southern region, in which school directors, supervisors and parents took part, call has been made on parents and village administrators to reinforce role aimed at enabling students become committed and competitive in their education.
Sanafe, 20 February 2015- At a meeting conducted on 15 February in Senafe, Southern region, in which school directors, supervisors and parents took part, call has been made on parents and village administrators to reinforce role aimed at enabling students become committed and competitive in their education.
Mr. Beyene Tesfai, Head of the Education Ministry branch in the sub-zone, indicated that in the efforts to provide educational opportunity to students, educational institutions have been put in place in almost all administrative areas in the sub-zone, and called on parents to make regular follow-up on their children.
Mr. Hibtizghi Kidane, Head of Education Ministry branch in the region, stressed that the close cooperation on the part of parents and schools is vital for strengthening the teaching and learning process, and commended the Senafe residents for the initiative they took to assist the teachers and that would have significant contribution in the development of education.
Likewise, Mr. Hiskias Wuhbet, Administrator of Senafe sub-zone, called on the residents of the sub-zone in general and parents in particular to exert efforts for the development of education, and that the sub-zonal administration would stand alongside them to that end.
In Senafe sub-zone there are 27 elementary, 10 junior and 4 high schools.
