The Northern Red Sea Administration awarded the Sudanese cultural troupe which has been here to participate at the Silver Jubilee commemoration of Operation Fenkil.

Massawa, 20 February 2015- The Northern Red Sea Administration awarded the Sudanese cultural troupe which has been here to participate at the Silver Jubilee commemoration of Operation Fenkil.

At a ceremony conducted at the Red Sea Hotel Mr. Ibrahim Ali, Chairman of the Regional Assembly, representing Ms. Tsegereda Woldegergis, Administrator of the region, said that the strong relation of the peoples of Eritrea and the Sudan is exemplary in the region, and commended the participation of the cultural troupe at the colorful event of the commemoration of the Silver Jubilee of Operation Fenkil.

The representative of the Sudanese cultural troupe on his part expressed appreciation for the warm welcome they have been accorded, and expressed conviction to work for the sustainability of the strong relation between the two countries.
