Additional seven rooms put in place in Zagir Health Station

Reports indicated that additional seven rooms have been put in place in Zagir Health Station, Serejeka sub-zone, at over 4.5 million Nakfa expenditure, and thereby renders maternity service.

Serejeka, 24 February 2015 – Reports indicated that additional seven rooms have been put in place in Zagir Health Station, Serejeka sub-zone, at over 4.5 million Nakfa expenditure, and thereby renders maternity service.

During the inauguration ceremony Dr. Tesfai Solomon, head of the Health Ministry’s branch in the sub-zone, pointed out that promoting health wellbeing of citizens is not only the responsibility of Government but nationals as well. He also commended partners active participation in the process and expressed the branch office’s readiness to make available the necessary medical equipments in the Station.

Likewise, Tesfu Fisehatsion, Administrator of Serejeka sub-zone, stated that the Government is exerting persistent effort with a view to promoting equitable social service nation-wide and that the current maternity rooms attest to this end.

Beneficiaries of the Health station indicated that they used to travel long kilometers to receive maternity service and expressed conviction that current facility would make due contribution in easing problems related with mother and child care.

The health facility has been put in place in collaboration with the Health Ministry’s branch in the Central region and partners.
