Strong organizational capacity described prerequisite towards realization of set goals

At a meeting of the Eritrean National War-Disabled Veterans Association (ENWDVA) conducted in Barentu city, it was stressed that strong organizational capacity is a prerequisite towards the realization of set goals as regards improving the socio-economic livelihood of the Disabled nationals through joint collaboration among the Association’s partners and philanthropist groups.

Barentu, 26 February 2015 – At a meeting of the Eritrean National War-Disabled Veterans Association (ENWDVA) conducted in Barentu city, it was stressed that strong organizational capacity is a prerequisite towards the realization of set goals as regards improving the socio-economic livelihood of the Disabled nationals through joint collaboration among the Association’s partners and philanthropist groups.

Mr. Andemariam Gebrekirstos, from the ENWDVA, pointed out that a number of war disabled veterans have been beneficiaries with various schemes, including that of the rehabilitation program and providing credit opportunity, to that end encouraging outcome have been registered nation-wide.

Similarly, Mr. Shimondi Woldegergis, head of the ENWDVA branch in Gash- Barka region, said that the Association is working on priority basis so as to enable the members become self-supporting, and called on the members to strengthen their organizational capacity for gratifying outcome.

Also speaking at the meeting, Mr. Aurelio Jacomino, Administrator of Barentu sub-zone, outlined that supporting the Disabled citizens should not only be left to the Association but also the general public as well, and that Administrations and government bodies have been exerting endeavors towards backing the members.
