The Eritrean community members in Colorado, USA, have commemorated International Women’s Day and the 35th founding anniversary of the NUEW with patriotic zeal.

Asmara, 02 March 2015 – The Eritrean community members in Colorado, USA, have commemorated International Women’s Day and the 35th founding anniversary of the NUEW with patriotic zeal.

During the commemorative event, the Eritrean nationals asserted readiness to step up participation in development endeavors through higher organizational capacity.

The observances in the city of Denver in which Friends of Eritrea from various countries and representatives of Denver and Aurora cities took part, it was stated that the pivotal role Eritrean women played during the armed struggle for independence and safeguarding the nation’s dignity, in addition to their active participation in the nation-building process and State affairs.

The event witnessed the staging of cultural performance and pictorial exhibition, as well as symposium highlighting the paramount role of Eritrean women.
