Inhabitants of Agmait area express readiness to enhance role towards promoting education

The inhabitants of Agmait area, Kerkebet sub-zone, have expressed readiness to enhance role in endeavors being made towards promoting educational outreach.

Kerkebet, 02 March 2015 – The inhabitants of Agmait area, Kerkebet sub-zone, have expressed readiness to enhance role in endeavors being made towards promoting educational outreach.

They also expressed appreciation to the Government’s commitment as regards promoting social service in remote areas nation-wide, and voiced readiness to cooperate with the Education Ministry as regards realization of the set goals through extending financial and material support.

During an inspection tour he made in the area, Mr. Ali Mahmud, Administrator of Anseba region, stated that the regional Administration would exert the necessary effort to overcome bottlenecks of the region step-by-step. To this end, a modern school and health institution would be made available this year, he added.

Agamait is located some 360 km west of Keren.
