Eritrean nationals residing in Birmingham assert readiness to enhance role in State affairs

Eritrean community members in the city of Birmingham, UK, have asserted readiness to enhance role in the realization of cherished development goals and mount staunch resistance against external conspiracies on the basis of higher organizational capacity.

Asmara, 03 March 2015 – Eritrean community members in the city of Birmingham, UK, have asserted readiness to enhance role in the realization of cherished development goals and mount staunch resistance against external conspiracies on the basis of higher organizational capacity. They made the pledge at a recent seminar conducted, during which the Eritrean Ambassador to the UK and Northern Ireland, Mr. Estifanos Habtemariam, briefed the participants focusing on the Eritrean struggle, the challenges encountered, the pace of the nation-building process, and  the multi-faceted external conspiracies vis-à-vis Eritrean people’s resolve inside the country and abroad.

Stating that major successes have been registered in the political and economic domains thanks to the steadfastness and dedication of the citizenry, the Ambassador called on nationals to sustain input in the nation-building process and portray Eritrea’s correct image worldwide.

In the course of the meeting, explanations were given pertaining to consular services being rendered to the Eritrean citizens.
