Various programs underway in Sawa National Vocational Training Center in connection with Intl. Women’s Day

A number of programs are underway in Warsai Yikalo Secondary School and National Vocational Training Centre in Sawa in connection with International Women’s Day.

 

Sawa, 06 March 2015 – A number of programs are underway in Warsai Yikalo Secondary School and National Vocational Training Centre in Sawa in connection with International Women’s Day.

Speaking on the occasion during which Col. Debesai Gide, Commander of Sawa National Training Center, and other heads took part,, Ms. Tekha Tesfamichael, Chairperson of the NUEW, pointed out that the Union is a conducive ground for fighting backwards traditional practices, in addition to  raising members awareness. She also expressed appreciation for the active role NUEW members abroad are demonstrating for the realization of development goals.

Likewise, Mr. Kelit Girmai, Director of Warsai Yikalo Secondary School, said that higher competence of female student participants of the 28th National Service attests to the endeavors being made to bequeath national values to the young generation.
