Mendefera, 07 March 2015 – Health institution in the Southern region are engaged in review of work accomplishments and exchange of experience in a bid to upgrade skill and performance.
This was disclosed by Mr. Yishak Tekle, head of medical service in the Health Ministry’s branch in the region, during which he stated that accomplishment assessments have been conducted in 18 health institutions by the medical service unit of the regional administration. He further indicated that health professionals from Mendefera, Adi-Qula, Dekemhare, Adi-Keih and Senafe hospitals are engaged in management and professional assessment.
Dr. Goitom Mebrahtu, head of health care service in the Health Ministry, pointed out that the exposure is aimed at promoting community health wellbeing and ensuring quality service to this end. In this connection, motivational initiatives would feature in hospitals that demonstrate excellence, he added.
