ALGIERS- Algerian cyclist Hichem Chaabane (team Cevital) won, Friday, the International Rally of Algiers ahead of Moroccan Mraouni Salaheddine and Eritrean Mekseb Debesay.

Chaabane finished the event, which covers over a total of 105 km finalized in 10 tours, in a time of 2h49:09, ahead of Mraouni Salaheddine (2h49:09) and Mekseb Debesay (2h49:32).

The International Rally of Algiers, first event of the Grand Cycling Tour of Algiers 2015’s programme included the participation of 81 cyclist representing 14 teams from 11 countries including Algeria, represented by four teams.
