Livestock vaccination campaign conducted in Molqi sub-zone

Dr. Teklezghi Tekie, Coordinator of animal health in the Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Gash-Barka region, stated that livestock vaccination campaign has been conducted in Molqi sub-zone against animal diseases in general, and that of goat and sheep in particular.

Molqi, 09 March 2015 – Dr. Teklezghi Tekie, Coordinator of animal health in the Agriculture Ministry’s branch in Gash-Barka region, stated that livestock vaccination campaign has been conducted in Molqi sub-zone against animal diseases in general, and that of goat and sheep in particular.

He also explained that over 54 thousand livestock have been vaccinated against external and internal pesticides, and that the undertaking is aimed at promoting health of the livestock, and thereby raise meat and dairy products.

One of the herdsmen told Erina that thanks to the continued vaccination service being rendered, the number of livestock and production has witnessed higher growth.
