At a recent meeting in Ginda town, a call was made for exerting joint effort on the part of the community, Administrators and parents towards upgrading student competence.

Ginda, 11 March 2015 – At a recent meeting in Ginda town, a call was made for exerting joint effort on the part of the community, Administrators and parents towards upgrading student competence. Speaking at the meeting in which school directors, parents, students’ committee and local Administrators took part, Mr. Saleh Ahmed, head of the Education Ministry’s branch in Ginda sub-zone, stressed the need for active participation of Area Administrators and parents so as to raise student competence in line with teachers’ endeavors.

Likewise, Mr. Omar Yahiya, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that nurturing competent students should not be left only for the teaching staff but the society at large. In this regard, he called on parents to sustain persistent follow-up of their children and the local administrators to extend the necessary support in the teaching-learning process.

The participants of the meeting on their part called for making available the required educational facilities, besides organizing promotional activities focusing on the significance of pre-education program, among others.
