Eritrean nationals residing in London donate sports equipments

Eritrean community members in London have donated sports equipments worth about 300 thousand Nakfa in support of Bet-Mekha Club with a view to developing sports at national level.

Asmara, 13 March 2015 – Eritrean community members in London have donated sports equipments worth about 300 thousand Nakfa in support of Bet-Mekha Club with a view to developing sports at national level.

Mr. Eyob Beyin, Chairman of the Club, noted the significance of such initiatives by the Eritrean citizens in addition to the substantial investment made by the Government towards reinforcing sports activities.

Mr. Tadese Daniel, who handed the donated items, pointed out that it would make significant contribution as regards inspiring the sportspersons’ enthusiasm and developing national sports.

The Sports Committee of the Club stated that the donation would made due contribution to the development of sports in the locality.
