Students called upon to raise awareness regarding law and crime prevention

At respective seminars conducted for students in the sub-zones of Hagaz, Goluj and Forto-Sawa, students have been called upon to raise awareness regarding law and enhance role in endeavors towards crime prevention through upholding the nation’s values.

Hagaz, 16 March 2015 – At respective seminars conducted for students in the sub-zones of Hagaz, Goluj and Forto-Sawa, students have been called upon to raise awareness regarding law and enhance role in endeavors towards crime prevention through upholding the nation’s values.

In a seminar he conducted for students in Hagaz sub-zone, Lt. Kifleyesus Isak, Commander of police station in Hagaz town, stated that the objective of the Police Force is to ensure the prevalence of peace and security, besides adherence to the law. He further called on the students to make good use of the available educational opportunities apart from avoiding addictive behaviors.

Similarly, Sgt. Hasebela Mohammed, and Efrem Semere, Acting Commander and head of crime investigation at Goluj police station respectively noted the significance of enhanced awareness on the part of youths as regards building a developed society, and called on students to collaborate with the Police Force.

In the same vein, Lt. Tesfaselasie Haile, Commander of police station in Forto-Sawa sub-zone, held meeting with inhabitants of the area, and presented reports focusing on instances of crime and accidents in 2014.
