Sawa, 17 March 2015 – Dedication on the part of teachers and trainers were described vital asset in Warsai Yikealo Secondary School in Sawa. This was underscored at an assessment meeting for the scholastic year 2014/2015.

In a report he presented at the meeting in which heads of the Education Ministry, Commanders of the Centre and others took part, Mr. Kelit Girmai, Director of the School, explained that about 11, 500 students, out of whom 43% are females, from secondary schools arcos the nation have pursued studies at the Warsai Yikealo Secondary School.

During the meeting, report accomplishments pertaining to academic affairs, administration, supervision, student affairs and political education branches of the School were presented.

Mr. Petros Hailemariam, Director General of Human Resource Development in the Ministry of Education, pointed out that the Government is working on priority basis to promote the development of the education sector which involves substantial investment, and that the progress at Warsai Yikealo Secondary School attests to this goal.

Meanwhile, the Eritrean Secondary Education Certificate Examination (ESECE) is underway inside the country and abroad involving 14 subjects.
