Ambassador Saleh holds talks with Angolan Minister

The Eritrean Ambassador to South Africa and the Southern African region, Mr. Saleh Omar, held talks with the Angolan Minister of External Relations, Mr. Georges Rebelo Chicoti, on ways and means of enhancing bilateral ties based on mutual cooperation and partnership.

Asmara, 21 March 2015 – The Eritrean Ambassador to South Africa and the Southern African region, Mr. Saleh Omar, held talks with the Angolan Minister of External Relations, Mr. Georges Rebelo Chicoti, on ways and means of enhancing bilateral ties based on mutual cooperation and partnership.

During the talks, the Ambassador conveyed message from the Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, and also gave briefings focusing on the prevailing diplomatic and political situation, as well as the pace of development drive in the Homeland.

Expressing readiness to exert more endeavors to further strengthen existing Eritrean-Angolan relations, the Angolan official stressed the need for organizing meeting among heads from both countries. He also wished goodwill to the people and Government of Eritrea.
