Growing number of visitors to 14th National Book Fair attests to prevailing reading culture, Say writers

Writers who are displaying their works at the 14th National Book Fair at Expo grounds stated that the growing number of visitors to the Fair attests to the prevailing reading culture on the part of the citizenry.

Asmara, 24 March 2015 – Writers who are displaying their works at the 14th National Book Fair at Expo grounds stated that the growing number of visitors to the Fair attests to the prevailing reading culture on the part of the citizenry.

Among the writers Mr. Goitom Sahle and Ms. Genet Sium told Erina that the objective of the Fair is to familiarize products of publishing to the citizens, and thereby nurture the reading culture.

Likewise, Mr. Tekeste Asghedom and Ms. Meaza Tsehaye, parents, noted the vital significance of reading culture and expressed satisfaction with the fair price of the books displayed.

Meanwhile, Mr. Yishak Yosef, In charge of Coordinating Committee of the Fair, said that it has been visited by some 5,000 individuals in the first three days, and that the 30% discount is making due contribution as regards the  realization of the desired objective.
