Women’s role described vital in bequeathing culture of work among youths

Mr. Habteselasie Kibreab, head of Administrative Affairs of the PFDJ branch in Anseba region, said that active women’s role is  vital in bequeathing the culture of work and the nation’s cultural values to the young generation.

Keren, 26 March 2015 – Mr. Habteselasie Kibreab, head of Administrative Affairs of the PFDJ branch in Anseba region, said that active women’s role is  vital in bequeathing the culture of work and the nation’s cultural values to the young generation.

He made the remarks at a meeting with cadres in Keren city, during which he emphasized the need for making due contribution on the part of the citizenry in endeavors to raise youth participation in national development programs.  Mr. Habteselasie further noted the significance of organizing narrative programs to the youth focusing on the heroic feats and dedication demonstrated by fellow nationals.

Likewise, Ms. Amna Husien, head of the National Union of Eritrean Women’s branch in Anseba region, noted the role of educated women in various aspects, and called on them to acquire the necessary knowledge in addition to strengthening their organization, and thereby play enhanced role in the national economic development drive.

Mr. Dawit Zerezghi, Administrator of Keren, equally stressed the need for strengthening the NUEW through greater organizational capacity and awareness of its membership.
