Asmara, 27 March 2015 – A seminar was organized here in the capital from 23 to 25 March focusing on the patronization of nationals victimized by Autism and Dawns Syndrome.
Dr. Thomas Dickson, a German national and Pediatrics specialist conducted the seminar and stated that proper care to victims of such diseases has significant impact as regards mental development of the victims, and called on parents to exert more endeavors through active cooperation with the National Autism and Dawns Syndrome Association.
The participants of the seminar said that it is aimed at providing effective patronization to nationals victimized by such state of mental distortion, and thereby become self-supporting and productive members of the society. They further called on Ministries, national
Associations and other government bodies to step up participation in this regard.
Mr. Berhane Bokretsion, Chairman of the Association, pointed out that the continued efforts made towards proper care of victims, in collaboration with partners, have borne encouraging outcome.
