Tsehaflam inhabitants engage in renovation of dirt road

The inhabitants of Tsehaflam area, Serejeka sub-zone, in collaboration with village natives residing abroad, are engaged in the renovation of 3-Km. dirt road which links their village with the main Asmra-Keren route.

Serejeka, 28 March 2015 –The inhabitants of Tsehaflam area, Serejeka sub-zone, in collaboration with village natives residing abroad, are engaged in the renovation of 3-Km. dirt road which links their village with the main Asmra-Keren route.

The inhabitants indicated that they used to encounter transport problem and that the community members are participating in the task with enthusiasm.

Mr. Tewolde Tesfatsion, a representative of natives residing in Europe, and Mr. Teages Naizghi, member of Village development committee, stated that the natives abroad have contributed about 850 thousand Nakfa for the realization of the scheme.

Mr. Tesfu Fisehatsion, Administrator of the sub-zone, pointed out that the 4-meter-width dirt road would make significant contribution towards strengthening development activities and promoting social services. He further expressed appreciation for the active participation that the inhabitants are demonstrating.
