Eritrean citizens have conducted extensive public meetings on March 28 and 29 in a number of US cities, in collaboration with the Eritrean Embassy in that country and National Committee of Eritrean-American Civic Organizations.
Asmara, 31 March 2015 – Eritrean citizens have conducted extensive public meetings on March 28 and 29 in a number of US cities, in collaboration with the Eritrean Embassy in that country and National Committee of Eritrean-American Civic Organizations.
The meetings headed by 45 members of the Eritrean Embassy, the National Committee of Eritrean-American Civic Organization and representatives of Consular Affairs mainly focusing on the objective situation and common understanding, role and significance of the National Committee for Eritrean-American Civic Organizations and the process of changing new citizenship identification.
The participants of the meetings asserted readiness to sustain major successes registered and strengthen the National Committee for Eritrean-American Civic Organizations through mounting staunch resistance against external conspiracies and enhanced awareness, besides facilitating the process of changing identification of citizenship.
They also contributed a total of USD 23 thousand to the 13-day Cycling Tour for the Truth, Peace, Justice and Eritrea being conducted in connection with the 13th anniversary of the Eritrea-Ethiopia Boundary Commission’s ruling on border demarcation starting from Sweden to the UN office in Geneva.
