Call made in Anseba region for organizing Students Week in highly organized manner

The Administration of the Education Ministry’s branch in Keren sub-zone noted the significance of Students Week with a view to preserving the nation’s values and bequeathing such an asset to the young generation.

Keren, 03 April 2015 – The Administration of the Education Ministry’s branch in Keren sub-zone noted the significance of Students Week with a view to preserving the nation’s values and bequeathing such an asset to the young generation. In this connection, Mr. Yosef Ogbaselasie, head of the branch office, called for exerting joint efforts on the part of schools, government bodies and national associations in the reinforcement of the program. He made the remarks at a conclusion ceremony of Students Week conducted in Keren.

Cultural and sports activities, as well as political and social promotional activities were among those programs featured at the event.

Ms. Letenigus Abraha, head of social service in the sub-zone, emphasized the need to pay due attention to the task of nurturing competent youths.

Similarly, Mr. Hagos Adhana, head of the Education Ministry branch in Anseba region, stated that the scheme is designed to raise competitive spirit among schools and familiarize students with cultural and traditional assets.
