The NUEYS branches in Gash-Barka and the Northern Red Sea Administrative regions have held a joint accomplishment assessment meeting at Massawa with a view to exchanging experience.
Massawa, 10 April 2015 – The NUEYS branches in Gash-Barka and the Northern Red Sea Administrative regions have held a joint accomplishment assessment meeting at Massawa with a view to exchanging experience.
In opening remarks, Mr. Haile Tewolde, PFDJ Secretary in the Northern Red Sea region, noted the significance of the meeting in enhancing joint effort for the implementation of set programs.
Accomplishment reports regarding training courses, activities of strengthening youth clubs, student’s campaigns, the participation of members in national holidays and seminars, among others, were presented on the occasion.
Heads of the branches explained that efforts would be made in collaboration with partners to make available the required facilities.
The Mayor of Massawa, Mr. Kidane Woldeselasie, called on the NUEYS to exert more efforts towards equipping members with virtuous qualities and stressed the need for setting up of youth club in the port city.
