Students’ week conducted at Hagaz sub-zone

A students’ week, in which more than 20 schools ranging from kindergarten to High school participated, has been conducted at Hagaz sub-zone aimed at reinforcing their competence and exchanging experiences.

Keren, 26 April 2015- A students’ week, in which more than 20 schools ranging from kindergarten to High school participated, has been conducted at Hagaz sub-zone aimed at reinforcing their competence and exchanging experiences.

In a speech she delivered at the opening ceremony on 20 April, Ms. Amna Haj-Osman, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that education is the foundation of all developments, and that huge investment is being made to that end. She also called on the students to equip themselves with knowledge and profession and preserve the culture and values of the society.

Mr. Kiflu Zeru, Head of Cultural, Sports and Health affairs in the sub-zone, called on the students to develop the culture of work and competitiveness, and that efforts would be exerted to develop the students’ week with essence and participation.

Sports completions, general knowledge competition, cultural shows and other activities have been featured during the students’ week.
