Asmara 27, April 2015 – PFDJ branches in the United States have concluded their 3rd Conference adopting significant resolutions.
More than 300 members representing nationals from 29 cities in North America took part in the 3rd Conference held in Washington, DC.
Mr. Birhane Gebrehiwot, Charge D’affaires at the Eritrean Embassy in the United States, called on members of the Front to carry out coordinated endeavors to advance the realization of the PFDJ’s action program.
In a telephone address to the participants of the conference, Mr. Yemane Gebreab, Head of Political Affairs, explained the objective situation in the Homeland and the ongoing tasks of revitalization of the organization. He also gave responses to questions from the audience.
Parallel with the conference, a symposium presided by several experts was conducted focusing on Ethiopia’s continued occupation of sovereign Eritrean territories, human trafficking and the unjust sanctions against Eritrea.
