Sports Event in Western Front

The month-long Sports event of the Western Front that was underway in Barentu city has come to an end.

Barentu, 29 May 2015 – The month-long Sports event of the Western Front that was underway in Barentu city has come to an end. Present at the closing ceremony were Brig. General Tekle Kiflai, Commander of the Front, and other senior Army Commanders.

Maj. Estifanos Tekeste, head of information and agitation unit of the Front, stated that eleven teams had participated in the event displaying vigorous competitive spirit and discipline.

Simoti team from the 18th Division emerged champion of the sports competitions while Fenkil team received prize for discipline.
