A Book “Eritrean Youth from 1890 to 1962” inaugurated

A book titled “Eritrean Youth from  1890 to 1962” has been inaugurated at a ceremony conducted on 29 May at Ambasoira Hotel.

 

Asmara, 31 May 2015- A book titled “Eritrean Youth from  1890 to 1962” has been inaugurated at a ceremony conducted on 29 May at Ambasoira Hotel.

In a speech he delivered, Mr. Habtom Kidane, the author of the book, indicated that the book tries to modestly recount the different historical periods the Eritrean youth had to go through and the 70 years of colonialism and the role and contribution of the Eritrean youth.

Theology teacher Father Girmai Abraha, Dr. Araia Tsegai, head of the Eritrean Free Zone and Mr. Daniel Semere commenting on the book said that the book recounts the legal and political position for Eritrea to stand on its own as a nation, the conspiracies on the part of some super powers to deny the Eritrean people its rights, the resistance of the Eritrean youth to preserve the societal values, and that the author presented the true profile of the Eritrean youth.
