Dongolo, 05 June 2015 – 258 members of Eritrea’s Naval Force, 135 of whom are females, have completed five-months training in various technical fields at the Navy’s Training Centre in Dongolo.
The Commander of the Training Centre, Capt. Efrem Tesfai, underlined the importance of the staff upgrading programme and stated the plan for the future consisted of supplanting it with a higher, diploma-level, course.
Also speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Chief of Staff of the Naval Force, Col. Melake Teklemariam, stated that the core mission of the Eritrean Naval Force is to invest on its human capital with the requisite training in order to nurture a mentally and physical fit corps.
