A total of 141 students graduate from College of Marine Science and Technology

The College of Marine Science and Technology this week graduated a total of 141 students with Bachelors degree and Diploma.

Massawa, 06 June 2015 – The College of Marine Science and Technology this week graduated a total of 141 students with Bachelors degree and Diploma.

During the graduation ceremony, Mr. Tewolde Kelati, Minister of Marine Resources, explained that the Government is making substantial investment to nurture skilled manpower so as to adequately harness the nation’s marine resources.

Likewise, Dr. Zekaria Abdul-Kerim, Dean of the College, said that over 500 students have been pursuing studies this year in fishery resource, sea water farming, biotechnology and marine engineering.

A representative of the graduates expressed readiness to serve the people with dedication.

So far, the College of Marine Science and Technology has graduated 1, 287 students with Bachelors degree and diploma.
