NICE holds 11th regular meeting of shareholders
The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea (NICE) today held the 11th regular meeting of shareholders at Asmara Palace Hotel.
Asmara, 06 June 2015 – The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea (NICE) today held the 11th
regular meeting of shareholders at Asmara Palace Hotel. Stakeholders and invited guests took part in the meeting. Accomplishment report for 2014, the progress registered and challenges encountered was presented at the meeting.
In a report he presented at the meeting, the Managing Director of the Corporation, Mr. Zeru Woldemichael, explained that the NICE is working closely with renowned reinsurance institution partners operating at global level. He further stated that the Corporation has secured earnings to the tune of 169 million Nakfa from insurance sales. It also covered payments amounting to 80.6 million Nakfa connected with accidents, in addition to disbursing 55.9 million Nakfa for shareholders.
The National Insurance Corporation of Eritrea has sold a total of 10.4 shares since 20o4.
