Role of youth in crime prevention

The Commander of the Eritrean Police Force, Col. Mehari Tsegai, has called on youth to enhance their role in crime prevention and ensuring societal security.

Asmara, 7 August 2015 – The Commander of the Eritrean Police Force, Col. Mehari Tsegai, has called on youth to enhance their role in crime prevention and ensuring societal security.

He made the call during a lecture he gave at the Eritrean Institute of Technology (EIT). Col.Mehari pointed out that the Eritrean society is known for its noble values and that all nationals are duty bound to preserve such praiseworthy heritage.

Moreover the Commander of the Police Force noted the dire consequences of illegal human trafficking and that members of the  Police Force continue to give due attention to the task of combating such phenomenon.
