Mendefera, 02 September 2015-  Health practitioners and administrators were urged to conduct concerted efforts to control malaria prevalence at a meeting in Debarwa.

Sister Beletesh Gebreab, coordinator of Information and Agitation in the MOH branch, indicated that the rainy season is conducive for breading malaria insects and called on the public to keep their environment clean.

In the month of July alone, 37 impregnated mosquito bed nets were distributed to over 37 thousand people in 84 villages.
