Football Championship kicks off at Asmara Stadium

The Eritrean National Football Championship for 2015 kicked off at the Asmara Stadium last Sunday, September 13th .

Asmara, September 17 2015 – The Eritrean National Football Championship for 2015 kicked off at the Asmara Stadium last Sunday, September 13th . The Championship games will continue until the 27th of this month and aim to galvanize greater popular following.

During the opening event, the President of the National Football Federation, Mr. Tesfay Gebreyesus, urged for higher community participation and involvement in order to ensure the cultivation of competent football players nationwide.

Mr. Tesfay further paid tribute to the commendable role of the Football Clubs in strengthening the Federation.
