PFDJ German Branch holds Annual meeting

Members of the PFDJ branch in Germany conducted annual meeting on 31st October in Frankfurt.

Frankfurt, 3 November 2015 – Members of the PFDJ branch in Germany conducted annual meeting on 31st October in Frankfurt.

Mr. Yohannes Woldu, Charge d’Affaires in the Eritrean Embassy in Germany, gave briefings on the situation in the homeland, as well as on regional and international issues.  Mr. Yohannes underlined that GOE diplomatic efforts were geared towards soliciting support for rescinding of the unwarranted UNSC sanctions and to foster bilateral ties of cooperation.

Mr. Kahsai Tewolde, in charge of public and communality affairs in the Eritrean embassy in Germany, and, Mr. Tekliya Mekonnen secretary of the PFDJ branch, presented annual reports of the organisation.

Seminar papers presented in the meeting focused on globalization and the preservation of Eritrea’s cultural heritage.
