Support to Students

Ministry of Labour and Human Welfare branches in Assab, Forto Sawa and Golij sub-zones have extended financial and educational materials to needy students.

Asmara, 24 November 2015 – Ministry of Labour and Human Welfare branches in Assab, Forto Sawa and Golij sub-zones have extended financial and educational materials to needy students.

The assistance is aimed at enabling the students to focus on their academic studies by addressing the financial hurdles they face.

Ms. Saba Tewelde, Branch Head of the Ministry in Assab, pointed out that the responsibility of extending assistance to needy students should not be left to the government alone and that citizens with the financial wherewithal should also take part in the effort.

The Ministry of Labour and Human Welfare extends regular support to targeted groups throughout the country.
