NUEW President in Khartoum

The President of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), Ms. Tekh’a Tesfamichel, held talks with the Chairperson of the Women’s Union of the Republic of Sudan (ROS), Ms. Meryem Osman, in Khartoum on November 30th.

Asmara, 4 December 2015 – The President of the National Union of Eritrean Women (NUEW), Ms. Tekh’a Tesfamichel, held talks with the Chairperson of the Women’s Union of the Republic of Sudan (ROS), Ms. Meryem Osman, in Khartoum on November 30th. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and regular consultation on bilateral matters as well as on regional issues of mutual interest.

Both Ms. Tekh’a and Ms. Meryem underlined the historic ties that exist between the two Unions and affirmed the existing goodwill on both sides to strengthen these bonds in the period ahead.
