Water project in Anseba sub-zone

A potable water project has been implemented in Adi-Werhi-Seb, Logo Anseba sub-zone at a total cost of 3.4 million Nakfa through community financial contributions.  

Asmara, 15 December 2015 – A potable water project has been implemented in Adi-Werhi-Seb, Logo Anseba sub-zone at a total cost of 3.4 million Nakfa through community financial contributions.

Mr. Angesom Asmelash, chairman of Adi-Werhi-Seb Development Committee, stated that the inhabitants organized themselves to raise funds to alleviate their community from prevalent water shortages in their area.

Commending the initiative taken by the inhabitants of the village, including those living abroad, the Administrator of Logo Anseba sub-zone , Mr. Isac Te’um, noted that  his the project will add impetus and complement ongoing government efforts to expand infrastructure and social service facilities in the region.

Inhabitants of Adi-Werhi-Seb use to travel a distance of over 7 km to fetch potable water daily.
