Community Development program underway in Ghindae sub-zone

A Community development program conducted every week that is aimed at the expansion of enclosures in Ghindae sub-zone is underway, the head of Economical Development of the sub-zone Mr. Hagos Gebremariam indicated.

Ghindae, 21 December 2015 – A Community development program conducted every week that is aimed at the expansion of enclosures in Ghindae sub-zone is underway, the head of Economical Development of the sub-zone Mr. Hagos Gebremariam indicated.

The work involves the digging of holes for the planting of trees and maintaining terraces. So far, over 7,000 trees have been planted in and around the Patriots Cemetery in the sub-zone. Also, about 3,100 hectares of enclosure, stretching from Mai-Habar to Dongolo, has been developed thought the active involvement of the community, according to further reports.
